Return to Play update for Weds 02/12/20

England Touch can now confirm that as of Wednesday, December 2nd the Association will be moving to STAGE 3 – PLAY in the Return to Play protocols.

This means that the following will be permitted:

  • Larger groups in training of up to 30 people
  • Full Touch rules in training, including intra-club matches
  • Local friendlies and leagues against teams within your town/immediate area

We ask players and teams to be mindful of local Covid-19 Tier restrictions, such as no travelling between areas which are in different Tiers. Head to www.gov.uk/coronavirus for the latest information.

Clubs are also advised to update risk assessments to take the latest government guidance into account, and if you have not yet submitted your Return to Play paperwork to England Touch then please do so as soon as possible. You are reminded that failure to do so could invalidate your insurance.

Clubs also need to ensure that your affiliation is up-to-date to make the most of benefits such as public liability insurance and directors indemnity insurance.

Any specific questions can be sent to returntoplay@englandtouch.org.uk

Head to www.englandtouch.org.uk/coronavirus for all the information and paperwork you need to return to play!
