Supporting England at the 2022 Euros
There are plenty of ways to follow England’s campaign at the 2022 European Touch Championships in Nottingham.
In person
Entry into the Highfields Sports Complex is free each day, with the first matches tapping off at 8:45am and the final matches tapping off at 6:05pm, Tuesday to Friday.
Saturday is Finals Day, with the first match tapping off at 8:45am and the Men’s Open Final rounding off the week at 6pm.
Supporters are welcome to join us for the Opening Ceremony in the amphitheatre behind the Portland Building on the University of Nottingham campus. This ceremony starts at 5:30pm and will include a team parade and live music.
The Highfields Sports Complex is easily accessible by tram and public transport from both Nottingham city centre and Beeston, and car parking is available at Nottingham Hockey Centre (immediately next door to Highfields) at £5 per car per day, or £20 for the week. On-site catering includes:
- The Snobby Butcher, serving burgers, hot dogs and loaded fries
- Davies Den, serving South African braai
- Boxed Drinks, serving hot and cold drinks and sweet treats
- Treetops ice cream
- Kerry’s Fresha smoothies
- University of Nottingham bar on Friday and Saturday (12noon-6:30pm)
- A bar is also available at Nottingham Hockey Centre, although alcoholic drinks are not permitted to be brought on site
Event merchandise will be sold in the marquee on site throughout the week. Anyone who pre-ordered their merchandise via Inferno will be able to collect from this marquee.
The site information point will also be located in the Event Merchandise marquee.

The Federation of International Touch is live streaming four fields all week, with live commentary from Jonathan Bullard, Chris Wearmouth, Jordan Melling, Mel Day and Ben Meakin on Field 1 (not all at once!) and Ian Waterhouse presenting.
The England teams’ matches and live stream links will be listed on the England Touch website at the start of each day, with regular updates on Instagram and Facebook throughout the day, and a daily round-up also on the website and social media channels.
