2021/22 Junior HP training squads announced
The 2021/22 Junior HP squads have been announced.
Fifty-nine girls and 99 boys have been selected for the initial training weekend in November, after which the specific training squads for Boys 18s, Girls 18s, Mixed 18s and Mixed 15s will be chosen for subsequent training groups.
While next summer's international Junior programme is still to be confirmed, this year's squads will be following in the footsteps of four European champion teams after England swept the board in Paris in August 2019.
Four out of England's five regions are represented, with youth-specific Touch clubs in Bristol and London having healthy numbers in both squads.
England Touch has been focusing on growing age group Touch since the return to play at the end of lockdown, and if you would like to introduce specific sessions at your club or would like to have the sport in your school then contact National Development Officer, Sammie Phillips, via sammie.phillips@englandtouch.org.uk
