2021 Nationals rounds off with Juniors taking centre stage

The 2021 Nationals ends this Sunday with the Juniors the focal point of attention at Oxford RFC.

In all 15 teams will compete across four categories, namely Boys 18s, Girls 18s, Boys 15s and Girls 15s, with most regions represented in one of the tournaments.

The action taps off at 10am with all teams playing 30-minute matches with a five-minute half-time and five minutes between matches.

The Boys 18s, Girls 18s and Boys 15s will all play pool matches, with the Boys 18s and Girls 18s finishing with finals to decide the overall champions – for a second tournament during the Nationals campaigns England Touch will be finishing the day with the female final.

Meanwhile the Girls 15s has just the two teams, who will play each other in a best-of-three series of matches.

The Midlands has had the better of Juniors Touch over the past few years, winning the Boys 18s and Girls 18s titles in 2018 and the Mixed 15s title a year later. Meanwhile the South-East won the Mixed 15s in 2018 and the North-West the Mixed 18s in 2019.
