Manchester maintain charge in Development NTS

Manchester Chargers remain the team to catch in the 2019 Steeden Development National Touch Series, after taking home a second successive Cup title.

After coming through a challenging pool unbeaten against Percy Park Pirates, Warwick Knights, Thames Valley Vikings and EY London Vipers, the Chargers then saw off CSSC London and Norwich Rebels en route to a final against Cheltenham.

The south-west club had reached the semi-finals in Chester, and beat St Albans this time around to put them into the final. But they came up against a Manchester team that was on top of its game, the Chargers winning 7-4.

The other silverware was lifted by Bristol Fijians (Plate), Yorkshire Thorns (Bowl), Thames Valley Vikings (Shield) and Peterborough Tropics (Salver).
