Five England players called into Europe Women's 35s World Cup team

Five England players have been included in the Women’s 35s team which will represent Europe at the 2019 Touch World Cup.

Holly Birch, Kirsty Prior (team manager)(Bristol Fijians), Leanne Simm (Manchester Chargers), Lesley McCallion (coach)(Percy Park Pirates) and Renee Watson (Oxford) are part of a team featuring eight different nationalities that will be heading to Malaysia at the end of April.

They will be playing England, Australia and New Zealand in a round-robin format, with the top two teams then facing each other in the Gold medal match.

The team in full is:
