Turtles take STEEDEN DTS Round 4 title

Turtles take STEEDEN DTS Round 4 title

The Turtles burst onto the STEEDEN DTS scene this past weekend by taking home the Cup title in their first ever outing in the tournament.

Although their previous experience was more in Tag Rugby, guided by the experienced Lois Lau, Emily Clews and Stephen Barry, the Turtles took to Touch immediately to come through a group which included teams such as CSSC Spectre, G:Force, Warwick Knights and the Southern Mavericks X15s.

They improved continuously throughout the day and saw off CSSC’s other team, the Spirits, in the final.

Elsewhere in the tournament Nottingham Sheriffs took home the Plate, Goose the Bowl and Warwick Knights the Shield.
