Women's Open - TWC Preparation

Women's Open - TWC Preparation

On a cold, muddy December day, 16 England Women's Open players and their coach assembled in London for their final 2014 (pre-Christmas) training session. The recovery session involved a Christmas lunch at a nearby public house with fun Kris Kringle festivities.

Following their winter holidays, on January 11th the team (and their number 1 supporter - little Nathaniel) completed their fifth of 14 training sessions as they prepare for the Touch World Cup in Australia in April-May 2015. Again, there was a chill in the air but the sun was shining in Cambridge as the team went stride for stride in a combined SAQ (speed, agility, quickness) session with the England Men's 30s. The teams then did separate drills for a period before coming together for a joint line attack (M30s) and line defense (WOs) session.
