England Touch Home Nations Voluntary Role Announcement
NEW ENGLAND TOUCH APPOINTMENTS
The ETA is proud to appoint David Cope as its first National Development Co-ordinator, and Ben Meakin, our Kit Co-ordinator for the new season ahead.
Congratulations to Helen Waters, Anna Jennings and Georgia Yurkwich-Spink, who have recently been appointed by England Touch in the following Team Manager roles for Home Nations 2013:
Head of Team Managers - Helen Waters
Men's 30s Squad Team Manager - Anna Jennings
Men's 35s Squad Team Manager - Georgia Yurkwich-Spink.
England Touch will be travelling to Dublin in 2013 for the Home Nations International Tournament. Accompanying the squads and supporting staff will be the all important Team Managers. England Development Director Role:
The ETA executive committee position of Development Director has been introduced for the 2013 season. The application process and Terms of Reference for this new, challenging and rewarding role can be found on the ETA website.
England National Coaching Course Presenter:
The experienced coach who fulfils this position will be responsible for delivering Federation of International Touch (FIT) accredited coaching courses to the next generation of aspiring coaches in England. As the sport of Touch in England expands the opportunities for Regional Coaches in the six England Touch defined regions also progresses. A number of Regional Coach & Assistant Coach positions are vacant for application. The Regional Coach/Assistant Coach roles provide a stepping stone for those looking to develop their Touch coaching skills to the next stage beyond club level, the Challenge Touch Series, and National Touch Series events. Building a strong foundation of experienced regional coaches is essential to the continued growth of the sport of Touch in England, see our website link for more information on how to apply and which positions are currently open.
