Invitational Bonfire Touch Tournament

 

Oxford Touch are keen to ramp up the Touch scene in their city and are organising a little winter warmer, œInvitational Bonfire Touch Tournament, on Saturday 6th November. They are aiming for 12 teams to attend and the response so far has been very positive from some of the best teams in the country planned to be present. The planned set up is 2 groups of 6, playing simultaneously on 3 pitches - totalling 10 pool games (5 per team) + 2 semis and a grand final.

All matches planned to be finished by the time it gets dark (3.30 pm!), food will be served whilst watching the autumn rugby internationals in the club house (and a guided tour night out in Oxford for those who want to stay!)

Referees, we need you! In order to make this a great inaugural competition, Oxford need you! With the 2011 World Cup coming up we hope you would like to get in as much reff™ing practice as possible and it will be a great chance to train and learn from the best around. OTC will be offering the usual good food and hospitality, plus £35 to cover your costs. Hope you can make it.
