Stirling calling for Seniors and Masters

England’s preparations for the 2026 European Touch Championships and 2028 Touch World Cup continue this weekend when 11 Seniors and Masters teams head north to the University of Stirling for the first European Seniors Cup.

This includes a first ever Women’s 45 team, who will be competing in the Women’s 40 category against England W40, Scotland and Eurostars, who continue in a tradition of making competitions for older women’s teams which stretches back to Touch World Cup 2019 in Malaysia.

England’s other teams include a Senior Mixed group, Women’s 27 and 35, and Men’s 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55.

England has the most comprehensive overall squad of the nine competing nations across the six competitions.

Women’s 27 – England, England W35, France, Scotland

Men’s 30 – England, France, Germany Select, Netherlands, Scotland

Mixed 30 – England, EuroSelect, Ireland, Portugal, Switzerland

Men’s 35/40 – England M35, England M40, EuroSelect M40, France M40, Scotland M40, Wales M35, Wales M40

Women’s 40 – England, England W45, Eurostars, Scotland

Men’s 45/50/55 – England M45, England M50, England M55, EuroSelect M50, Ireland M45, Portugal M50, Scotland M50
