Second Women in Sport and Business Conference

Join us for our second Women in Business and Sport Conference in partnership with Element Six (part of the De Beers Group) on Friday 27th September at Maidenhead Rugby Club.

The theme for this year's Conference is 'Breaking Barriers' and we will be taking a deep dive into the barriers that exist for women in business and sport, as well as sharing experiences of how we have faced these challenges.

We will also hear from speakers such as Rugby World Cup winner, Maggie Alphonsi, and Women in Sport's Head of Communications and Engagement and Touch World Cup bronze medallist, Sarah Bellew, with other exciting speakers and panellists to be announced in the next few weeks.

We will also be exploring the themes of allyship, teamwork, resilience and leadership.

There will be plenty of opportunities to interact with the speakers and also to network throughout the day. Pastries, fruit and cold/hot drinks will be served in advance of the conference and a buffet lunch will be served mid-way through.

There will also be a number of movement breaks, including an opportunity at the end of the day to get active and try non-contact touch rugby alongside the other delegates. The bar will also be open at the end of the day for post-conference re-hydration!

Join us for what promises to be another great instalment of talks and interactions. All genders are welcome to attend this event to further the conversation on breaking down barriers and achieving gender equity in business and sport.
