England Youth Teams for European Junior Touch Championships 2024
England Touch has today announced the six teams which will be competing at the 2024 European Youth Touch Championship in Vichy, France, from 16-19 August at Parc Omnisports Pierre-Coulon.
England will be entering every category in this competition, along with host nation France. Unfortunately the Mixed 20s Division, which ran at the Youth Atlantic Cup in Nottingham last year and in which England won Gold, is not running this year.
In all, there are 96 athletes selected, ranging in age from 13 to 20, who will be representing 22 clubs spanning from Truro to Wigan. Nottingham has the most amount of selected athletes (24), followed by Wolves Junior Touch Club (9) and then Maidenhead Mohawks (7).
In addition, a further 42 non-travelling reserve and development athletes will continue to train with the teams in their final preparation camps this weekend (alongside our Men’s and Women’s Open Squads) and in August in Nottingham.
The athletes are supported by a team-behind-the-team of 35 coaches, team managers, strength and conditioning coaches, medical/physiotherapists, performance psychologists and performance analysts.

All of our youth athletes have invested considerable time and effort and have made sacrifices to represent their country and they have our heartfelt thanks for their commitment and we would like to congratulate them their selection.
A massive thank you to all of the families and friends who have enabled our youth athletes to get to this point, and we look forward to seeing you all in Vichy in August!
