2023 Mixed NTS Round 1 – Divisions 3 and 4 preview

We head to Burton RFC this weekend for the opening round of the 2023 Mixed National Touch Series.

For the first time the Mixed NTS has been organised in divisions, with divisions 1 and 2 on Saturday and divisions 3 and 4 on Sunday. Results during the weekend will see teams promoted and relegated between divisions 1 and 2, and between divisions 3 and 4, which will bring some added competition as well as silverware.

As always, in addition to league points – whoever has the most league points at the end of the season will be crowned overall champion – individual trophies will be won at each event, too.

Division 3 is pooled into four groups of four, and the number of teams which have been entered by clubs who are also represented in divisions 1 and 2 shows the increasing strength of depth and numbers across the country.

Division 3 Pool B London Eagles 3, Crewe and Nantwich Ignite, Cheltenham 2, Bedford

Division 3 Pool C Cambridge Wasps, Warwick, Liverpool Otters, Northampton
