HM Queen Elizabeth – RIP

Everyone at the England Touch Association (ETA) has today joined the rest of the nation’s sporting community in sending our condolences to the Royal Family, following the sad passing of HM Queen Elizabeth earlier today.

The Queen has been an ever-present in the lives of everyone within the English Touch community, and her passing marks a significant landmark in this country’s history.

She will be missed.

“The Queen was a keen follower of many sports, something which has become a tradition within the Royal Family,” commented ETA Chair, Mark Croston. “Her dedication and commitment to her position and role in public life was a superb example for us all to follow, and as with so many people throughout Touch and sport as a whole, we send all of our best wishes to the rest of the Royal Family at this sad time.”
