The University National Touch Series may have had its ups and downs weather-wise in 2021/22, but the spring sun is set to shine on Nottingham's Riverside Sports Complex for this Saturday's final round.
Unsurprisingly, the sun has brought out a few extra teams, and there will be a season-high 26 teams in the East Midlands, with Surrey bringing two teams, Edinburgh making the trip south, home-city Nottingham joining for the first time this season, and Manchester finally being able to make their 21/22 University NTS bow.
With the top four teams - Exeter 1, Loughborough 1, Bath 1 and Cardiff - separated by just six points in the overall standings, and with double-points available for this, the final day of competition, the season crown is up for grabs!
Exeter 1 and Cardiff are in Pool A, with Loughborough 1 and Bath 1 both in Pool B, so the placings for the knockout stages will be all-important. However the majority of the Cup matches played since the turn of the year have been extremely competitive, so don't count out a surprise or two along the way!
The first tap off is at 9:30am, with the Cup final at 5:05pm.
