2018 Touch Nationals | Mixed Open Preview

The Mixed Open division has gone from strength to strength since its inception and we can once again look forward to a competitive and unpredictable division.

The early favourites for the title will be last year’s finalists - North-West Blades and the Midlands Tigers, with both teams facing each other in the first round of the competition.

However, there is great depth once again in 2018 and all regions will fancy their chances of being crowned Touch Nationals champions on day three. The North-East Raiders will look to build on their club success in the National Touch Series events with a very competitive selection process by challenging their more fancied Northern counterparts.

The South-West Saxons are expected to be a strong outfit with a young and developing side selected that is full of quality. The South-East and West Wildcats teams will be in the mix as well and both regions look to put the depth and quality of their regions to the test.

The Mixed Open Division taps off at 10:20 on Saturday, August 25th.
