U18 category preview
The ETA are very excited about the inception of the U18s division which provides an opportunity to showcase the tremendous talent within the junior category. Clubs, Regions and the ETA have been working very hard to develop our young players which you will hopefully bare witness to when the Southern Mavericks take lock horns with the Northern Stars in the 2014 Touch Nationals. The 18s will play in a 3 Game Series against each other on Sunday 7th September.
The U18s will play in the following timeslots:
Game 1: 9.00am on Field 1
Game 2: 11.30am on Field 1
Game 3: 14.00pm on Field 1

Toby Phillips (Northern Stars):
Toby started playing this year for the Manchester Chargers and is quickly becoming 'the talk of the North' as he rapidly develops his knowledge, understanding and thirst for our game. Toby will be an important member of the Northern 18s as they look to triumph over a well drilled Southern Mavericks.

Catherine was one of the stalwarts that helped the England Mixed U18s to a silver medal at the recent Junior European Championships. Age has proven no gage for Catherine's influence on the pitch as she imposes her speed, vision and free flowing approach onto the opposing team. Catherine will be an important member of the Southern Mavericks and the Northern Stars will do well to stop her.
