New PR/Marketing and social media team

England Touch would like to introduce our new PR/Marketing and social media team

Nancy Lyndhurst - PR/Marketing Director.

Email: Marketing@englandtouch.org.uk

Nancy is our newly appointed PR/marketing Director. She is a marketing consultant and her background is mostly Products and Marketing Manager although she has also trained horses for a living! Her marketing experience is wide ranging from working with the England Rugby team while at O2 to presenting Mobile technology to Ministers in Bangladesh!

She is currently working with EE as Customer Experience Manager where she manages various projects for them. Some of you may have met Nancy when she played touch with Galaxy a few years back. She still plays occasionally as well as

horse riding, scuba diving and quite a bit of socialising.

Nancy is also on a riding club committee as a volunteer and works for various charities helping them with their PR and fundraising.

Alongside Nancy, we have set up a subcommittee of people to assist in her in this role, these are:

Soul Phoenix - Newsletter.

With a BA in eCommunications and a background in web design and software engineering Soul, who is also a qualified motivational coach, hopes he can add passion, energy and expertise to the team's effort.

'Rugby has always been a big part of my life so I'm massively proud to have represented England Touch, I'm definitely a huge advocate for this fantastic sport's growth at every level.'

Jo Bunt - Social Media

Jo gave up the 'high-powered job in the city' in an attempt to stay sane while raising her twin boys.

'I now juggle being a mum with writing and being a part-time company secretary. I published my first novel, Daughter of the Winds, last year and am busy working on book number two. Oh, and I also write a monthly food blog about the food featured in my book.

When I'm not writing, or obsessing about food, I like to be outside either watching or participating in sport. My hubby plays Touch and my sons play tag rugby so I'd say the focus is definitely on rugby in our house. There's a nasty rumour that I once told my sons that if they didn't eat their vegetables they would grow up to be footballers!

We are England Touch

Some space. A ball. Your mates. A game
Your team. A competition. Maybe a trophy or two
Work hard. Develop skills. Get selected. Represent your nation
Volunteer time. Pick up a whistle. Make a difference
This is England Touch. Pick up a ball and play!
