Are you a Level 1 Referee?Are you wanting to progress to the next level?Do you want to be a better referee?Do you want to learn new skills and meet new people?Are you looking to attend the Euro's?Or  .. are you a referee who is looking for a refresher course?If the answer is yes to any of those questions, or if you are looking at getting involved in refereeing, then this course if for you!The ETA is holding a Level 2 course in Reading and we'd like to see as many of you there as possible.  Details of the course:Date:

    • Berkshire County Sports Club, Sonning Lane, Sonning, Reading RG4 6ST (Thames Valley Vikings' Home Ground).

What to expect:
    • The course contains both a theory and practical element with a theory exam at the end of the day and an on-field assessment to be done at a later date.
    • As there is a practical element, you will need to bring gear to run in and your whistle (please consider also a warm jacket and/or wet weather gear as well).  There are showers and changing facilities available at the venue if you wish to bring a change of clothes. 
    • We will not be awarding any upgrade badges at the course and the on-field assessment will need to take place at a later event.
If you are thinking of attending the Euro's, please note that there is a minimum Level 2 requirement for referees.We have some great presenters, who are focused on maximising your learning potential and ensuring the day is fun and interactive so you get the most out of it.As an added bonus - the first CTS event is on the Saturday 14th April in Reading (same venue as above) and I'd like to encourage as many referees as possible to attend this and then attend the Level 2 course on the Sunday.  Our course presenters will also be present at the CTS as referee coaches, so come along, get some practice, feedback, and learn some news tips, tricks and skills and most of all have a great weekend full of touch!
