CSSC and London Scorpions dominate opening Elite MW NTS

CSSC London and London Scorpions were the dominant teams in the opening weekend of SPORTTAPE Elite Men's and Women's National Touch Series action in Oxford.

What the tournament may have lacked in numbers it more than made up for in quality, with plenty of England internationals on show across both the Men's and Women's tournaments.

CSSC Women and London Scorpions Men mastered both the 20-minute and 40-minute matches played against their rivals, with both teams unbeaten during the course of the weekend.

Scorpions won all eight of their matches, with CSSC winning seven and drawing one to take home the league points and silverware in the Oxfordshire sun.

MVPs were Lois Lau (CSSC) and Clark Hobson (London Scorpions), with Ray Macfarland the MVR.

Round 2 is in Canterbury on the weekend of July 27/28.
