International flavour at Ryvita Touch Nationals

There will be an international flavour to the Ryvita Touch Nationals this weekend as national teams from elsewhere in Europe head to Cambridgeshire to take on the English regions.

Wales’s Men’s Open, Women’s Open and Mixed Open squads will be competing in their respective tournaments, as will France’s Mixed Open squad.

There are seven teams in all in the Men’s Open competition, with Wales joined by Midland Tigers, North-West Blades, South-East Sharks, South-East Taipan, South-West Saxons and Western Wildcats.

Eight teams will be in both the Women’s Open and Mixed Open tournaments.

Women’s Open - Midland Tigers, North-West Blades, South-East Sharks, South-East Taipan, South-East Samurai W27s, South-West Saxons, Wales and Western Wildcats.

Mixed Open - Midland Tigers, North-West Blades, North-East Raiders, South-East Renegades, France, Southern Suns, Wales and Western Wildcats.

The final tournament of the weekend is in the Men’s 30s category, with Midland Tigers, Northern Monkeys, South-East Samurai, Southern Suns/South-West Saxons and Western Wildcats battling it out for the title.

The matches will be played across all three days of the bank holiday at One Leisure in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, and we’ll keep you up-to-date with all the action on the England Touch Facebook page!
